This policy outlines the shipping and delivery process, timelines, responsibilities, and conditions for all our products. Please read the details carefully to understand how we handle your orders.

1. Order Processing & Product Categories

A. Small Products (Ready to Ship)

Small products include items such as stools, ottomans, décor pieces, and other non-customized furniture. These products are pre-manufactured and ready to ship immediately upon order confirmation.

  • Processing Time: Orders for small products are processed within 24 to 48 hours after payment confirmation.
  • Delivery Time: Once dispatched, delivery typically takes 4 to 7 working days, depending on your location.
  • Shipping Method: We use reliable courier services such as Delhivery, Xpressbees, Bluedart or similar partners to ensure timely and safe delivery of these items.

B. Large Furniture (Made to Order)

Large furniture includes items such as sofas, dining sets, beds, storage units, tables, and other customized or made-to-order pieces. These products are crafted specifically for you upon receiving the order.

  • Manufacturing Time: Production begins after order confirmation and may take 4 to 10 working days based on the complexity of the design and availability of materials.
  • Delivery Time: Once manufacturing is complete, delivery takes an additional 4 to 7 working days, depending on your pincode.
  • Shipping Method: For large furniture, we use dedicated logistics partners who specialize in handling bulky items to ensure safe delivery to your doorstep.

2. Delivery Process

A. Order Confirmation

After placing your order, you will receive an email or SMS confirmation within 2 hours. This confirmation will include your order details and estimated timelines for processing and delivery.

B. Dispatch Notification

Once your order is shipped (for small products) or ready for dispatch (for large furniture), you will receive a notification with tracking details via email or SMS. For large furniture orders, we also provide weekly updates on the manufacturing progress via WhatsApp or email.

C. Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines vary based on the product category:

  • Small Products: Delivered within 4 to 7 working days after dispatch.
  • Large Furniture: Delivered within 4 to 7 working days after manufacturing is completed.

3. Customer Responsibilities at the Time of Delivery

To ensure a smooth delivery experience, customers are required to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  1. Availability: Ensure that someone is present at the delivery address during the scheduled time window to receive the product.
  2. Inspection: Carefully inspect the product for any visible damage or defects before signing the delivery receipt or acknowledging receipt digitally. If there are any issues, inform us immediately before accepting the product.
  3. Access Requirements: Make sure there is clear access to your home for large furniture deliveries:
    • Check door widths (minimum of 36 inches recommended).
    • Ensure elevators are available if required for upper floors.
    • If manual labor is needed for higher floors without elevator access, customers must arrange it in advance at their own cost.
  4. Documentation: Provide valid identification proof and a copy of the order confirmation if requested by the delivery team.

4. Shipping Charges & Serviceable Areas

A. Shipping Charges

  • Small Products: Free shipping is available on all orders.
  • Large Furniture: Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on pincode and product weight/size.

B. Remote Areas & Additional Charges

For deliveries beyond a 30 km radius from metro cities or in remote locations, additional charges may apply depending on logistics feasibility.

5. Damaged or Missing Items

At Wooden Shoppe, we take utmost care in packaging and shipping your orders; however, damages can sometimes occur during transit.

  1. Reporting Damages: If you receive a damaged product or notice missing parts/items:
    • Report it within 48 hours of delivery by emailing us at [help@woodenshoppe.com]. Attach clear photos/videos showing the issue.
  2. Resolution Process: After verification by our team:
    • Replacement or repair will be initiated within 7–10 working days.
    • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed back to your original payment method.

6. Order Modifications & Cancellations

Small Products:

  • Modifications or cancellations can be requested within 12 hours of placing the order without any penalty.

Large Furniture:

  • Since large furniture is made-to-order:
    • Cancellations are allowed only before manufacturing begins.
    • A cancellation fee of 10% of the total order value will apply if canceled after production starts. 
    • In case of Customized furniture no cancellation is possible at any cost.

7. Delivery Limitations & Conditions

  1. Split Shipments: Orders containing both small products and large furniture may be shipped separately due to differences in processing times.
  2. Re-delivery Charges: If a delivery attempt fails due to incorrect address details provided by the customer or unavailability at the address during the scheduled time slot:
    • A re-delivery fee of will be charged.
    • In case of multiple customer not able to take delivery for small product forward shipping fees with RTO fees will be deducted from Prepaid order refund amount, for large furniture fees can be UPTO 20% of the order value.

8. Order Tracking

  1. For Small Products: You will receive a tracking ID via SMS/email once your order has been dispatched.
  2. For Large Furniture: Weekly updates on manufacturing progress will be shared via WhatsApp/email until dispatch.

FAQs

Q1: What happens if I miss my delivery?
If you miss your scheduled delivery slot, please contact us within 24 hours to reschedule it (₹300 rescheduling fee applies).

Q2: Do you offer international shipping?
Yes! International shipping is available; however, additional charges and customs duties may apply based on destination country regulations.

Q3: Can I request expedited shipping?
Expedited shipping options are currently unavailable for large furniture due to manufacturing timelines but may be arranged for small products upon request (subject to additional charges).
